Cheylesmore Community Centre is a multi-purpose venue offering a variety of rooms suitable for parties, community and business events, meetings, training sessions, and recreational activities.
Important Information
- Only the Main Hall has a stage.
- Room bookings are generally available until 10:30pm.
- Activity mirrors are not available for private functions or parties.
- Rooms can be booked for one-off events or on a regular long-term basis.
- Please use whiteboard markers only on our whiteboards. Permanent markers must not be used.
- The following items are not permitted anywhere on the premises, either inside or outside the building:
- Party poppers
- Confetti
- Confetti cannons
- Shooters
- Flower petals
- Computers are not available for hire. Public computer access is available during Library opening hours: https://shorturl.at/IkbOy
If you simply need to meet with someone and confidentiality is not required, you may wish to purchase refreshments in our Coffee Shop rather than hire a room. This can often be a more cost-effective option.
Viewings and Appointments
We strongly recommend booking an appointment to view our facilities before visiting. Centre space is often reserved many months in advance and, for privacy and safeguarding reasons, we may be unable to accommodate unannounced visitors.
Booking Availability
As demand for our facilities is often high, we recommend making enquiries as early as possible. Many rooms are booked several months in advance, particularly during peak periods.
