Exciting Grant Award from Severn Trent Community Fund
We are thrilled to announce that Cheylesmore Community Centre has been awarded a £62,000 grant from the Severn Trent Community Fund! This generous support will enable us to reroof and repair our training kitchen, a vital resource at the heart of our Community Centre.
The need for people to learn how to cook at home has never been greater. With only one in three Britons feeling very confident cooking from scratch without a recipe*, and the ongoing cost-of-living crisis, local facilities that teach essential cooking skills to both adults and children are more important than ever.
