It is imperative that all prospective stall holders carefully read and agree to these guidelines before becoming a participant in the Cheylesmore Indoor Car Boot Sale. By agreeing, you acknowledge and commit to adhering to all the terms outlined. Failure to comply will result in Cheylesmore Community Centre taking legal action.
Please be advised that Cheylesmore Community Centre is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to items, including goods on display, vehicles, or personal property while on the premises. Stall holders are responsible for their own property and parking.
Pre-Owned Items Only
All items sold must be second-hand or pre-owned. New items intended for resale are not permitted.
No Counterfeit or Fake Goods
Selling counterfeit, fake, or pirated items is strictly prohibited. All goods must comply with UK trading standards.
No Food or Drinks for Sale
The sale of food or beverages is not allowed unless prior permission has been granted, and all food hygiene regulations are met.
Restricted Items
Weapons, knives, firearms, or any dangerous items are prohibited. Offensive or explicit materials are also banned.
Electrical Items
All electrical goods must be in safe working order. Sellers are responsible for ensuring their items meet safety standards.
No Livestock or Animals
The sale of live animals or pets is strictly prohibited.
Stall Setup and Pack Down
Stalls must be set up within the designated time frame. Sellers are responsible for clearing their stall and disposing of any rubbish before leaving.
Parking
Park vehicles in designated areas only. Do not block other stalls or pathways.
Pricing and Negotiation
Clearly display prices on items. Be prepared to negotiate in a friendly and respectful manner with buyers.
Insurance and Responsibility
Stallholders are responsible for their goods and personal belongings. The organisers are not liable for theft, damage, or accidents.
Noise and Disturbances
Keep noise to a minimum to avoid disturbing other stallholders and attendees.
Refunds and Returns
Refunds are at the discretion of the seller. If applicable, clearly state your return policy.
Respect for Others
Treat all attendees, organisers, and fellow stallholders with respect. Abusive or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
Payment of Fees
All stall fees must be paid in advance upon submission of this form.
Pack Down Guidelines and Deadlines
Respect the pack down deadlines. The allocated time for pack down is 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. You have 1 hour to pack down your stall; if you require more time, please start packing down earlier.
Music Policy
Playing your own music is not permitted. The organisers will provide background music where possible.
Compliance with the Organisers’ Rules
Follow any additional instructions or rules provided by the organisers on the day of the event.
Fire Safety Guidelines
Familiarise yourself with fire exits, keep aisles and corridors clear, and never block fire exits to ensure everyone’s safety.
Floor Space Limitations
Space around your table will be limited, so please plan your layout carefully.
Consequences of Not Abiding by Guidelines
Failure to follow these guidelines may result in a ban from future events. The organisers have the discretion to enforce this decision. No refunds will be issued for current or future events.
